Last week I took a short trip to Ha Long to see the bay. Instead of booking an expensive cruise, I hiked up Bai Tho (Poem) Mountain and got good views of Ha Long city as well. Wish the weather could’ve been more clear but it was still well worth the trip.

Since I’ve been in Hanoi its been good to see some familiar faces. Aaron and Emma – its been great to see you two on and off the past few months in Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Enda and Sarah – its been a pleasure to see you all throughout Vietnam since we met at the homestay back in Saigon. I’ll be in Hanoi for another ten days or so, and Vietnam has really blown me away. I can’t wait to come back to the motherland again.
