So to finish off the northern loop we left Meo Vac for Du Gia on day three, stayed there for a night, and then had a busy and rough ride back to Ha Giang city center the final day. Thankful to be in one piece after riding a motorcycle through most of Vietnam after the initial one I bought broke down in Khe Sanh.

The last couple of days on this loop were really cool; tons of rice fields and windy roads from high vantage points, and a really enjoyable afternoon spent at a hidden swimming hole in Du Gia! It was a hell of an experience driving to the waterfall in Du Gia as local kids would run towards us from their houses while pointing in the right direction. The water was clean and we could climb a few spots to cliff jump as well!
