Made it to Hoi An, but I drove through Kon Tum and Kham Duc over a couple of days to break up the journey. These are smaller towns but I enjoyed the drives especially through a couple of mountain passes.

I’ve been so fortunate with the homestays I’ve been choosing. In Kon Tum I stayed at Vietnam Phuot Homestay with a family that welcomed me with open arms, and we shared a few beers together while watching the World Cup. In Kham Duc I stayed at Guesthouse 21 & Yoga House and was there during the owner’s husband’s birthday! They invited me to the birthday dinner and I was treated to some amazing food.
