#56: Ho Chi Minh City

This is my first time ever in the motherland and its been great so far! Vietnam has been extremely welcoming, and I’ve been craving good Vietnamese food for the longest time since I’ve been living abroad lol. The past month I’ve been living in Ho Chi Minh City in a homestay while teaching English along with some fellow expats/foreigners.

I’ve never taught English in this type of environment where the students and teachers live together in a big house; its a pretty cool environment and we often have home cooked meals together which is super good. Below are some shots with good friends that I’ve made the past month. I will miss you guys, and I hope we meet again someday. I cannot thank you enough for your hospitality and your patience in dealing with my poor level of Vietnamese 😂.

Now I’ll start riding my motorcycle throughout Vietnam to eventually end up in Hanoi, where I’ll continue to teach English again at one of the partner homestays. Wish me luck!
